My Fave Perfume

A few people recently stopped me and asked what perfume I’m wearing, so I’ve decided to share with you my favourite perfume I’m currently using.

It’s worth mentioning that we all have our own unique body chemistry and skin pH which affect how perfume smells on us. Before buying perfume I always try it on my skin and walk around for at least a few hours to see if the scent doesn’t bother me and gives me that good feeling. Probably sounds weird but if the scent doesn’t give me a positive uplift I won’t buy it. Perfume should always come with a smile on your face.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir

I usually wear these for the evening. Scent is strong, full and long lasting. This is oriental perfume. I would describe it as warm, deep and intriguing.

Grand Soir notes as per Maison Francis Kurkdjian page:
Cistus Labdanum from Spain
Benzoin from Siam
Tonka bean from Brazil
Vanilla and amber accord

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Féminin Pluriel

This is a floral scent, quite an unusual choice for me. But I’m in love with it, I’ve only got them in December so that’s my latest addition. Perfect for day and evening. It’s long lasting but not as long as Grand Soir. I would describe this as a very fresh and uplifting smell.

féminin Pluriel notes as per Maison Francis Kurkdjian page:
Iris from Florence
Violet
Rose from Grasse
Jasmine from Egypt
Lily of the valley
Orange blossom
Vetiver
Patchouli from Indonesia

Creed Royal Princess Oud

Other than I like the sound of it, it also smells gorgeous. This is described as Oriental Floral fragrance. Very well balanced, sophisticated and long lasting scent. I wear it for day and evening depending on my mood. I’ve actually just run out of these, but I’ll be definitely replacing them straight away so it will be my 4th bottle of these. I find it really difficult to find good scents so if I find one I usually stick with it until I come across something better or I absolutely get bored with it.

Notes as per Creed page:
Top notes: Sicilian Bergamot Rose Sweet Voilet
Heart notes: Jasmin Vanilla Patchouli Iris from Tuscany
Base notes: Benzoin Siam Mysore Sandalwood Styrax Oud
