Be yourself in wide-leg trousers or skinny jeans

I have to say, I’m loving wide-leg trousers at the moment. Be prepared to see more of them.

I love these wide-leg, high waist trousers as they are so comfy.  And in my book, it is important to feel comfortable in my own skin.

I believe that the most important thing in choosing your wardrobe is to understand what items makes you feel good, sexy and cool when you are wearing them, regardless of what is trending at the moment. Let’s say, I don’t like colour yellow and it doesn’t suit me, but it’s autumn’s must have. What am I going to do? Well, I’d feel stupid in yellow, so I’m not going to wear it. Because if I would I wouldn’t look good in it; I would look silly because this is exactly how I would feel inside. But yellow can look really good on some of you. So I’m not slagging off yellow. I’m just saying, that no trend will look good if you don’t feel good in it. It doesn’t matter how good it looks on a model in a magazine, if it’s not your thing and when you put it on you are unsure just don’t buy it. This is the advice I’m using when I’m shopping too. I’m sure we all had that feeling when you try something on, and you think this is such a nice item, you try it on and nothing… Well, the answer is – leave it and move on. This is why we end up with a full wardrobe of nice items and nothing to wear.

We are all unique and have our own angle on everything, including fashion, trends and our personal style. Don’t be afraid to be your own self, even if you are wearing something what is a bit of the season, ahead or behind it!

I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, that I feel super good wearing t-shirts in winter and jumpers in summer. I can’t explain why though.
